Is change necessary?
The most successful people and businesses recognise the need for change and know what they need to do. They embrace change, in fact they seek it out and can ususally see quite quickly when things are not working and are unafraid to change it. Recognising that doing the same thing again and again without any progress is one thing, doing something about it is another. We all settle in our comfortable routines and become unaware of the consequences of the fact that our business is falling behind. Constantly looking at what needs to change and recognising that without change there is no success is the way forward.
Of course when you are involved in the day to day running of a small business and get caught up with the hustle and bustle of organising daily routines it is easy to forget to look at the bigger picture and what is happening overall, especially with regard to progress and expansion.
